10/06/2009 - 9:16pm - Alright, now have functioning Twitter API login via OAUTH, so you'll never give thehockeytwits your Twitter username or password, as well once logged in via twitter, automatic re-directs maintaning login information back to the team page you were just browsing. Since I went to oauth for the login (which will soon be the only way to connect to the twitter API) login info is stored in a cookie. This has been quite the learning process, and a lot of hard work, I'm not even done porting over the users from the blog hockey twits! But getting this code rounded out was the proirity, the copy/paste stuff will be last. Tonight I'll be working on the look and feel of the Twitter API commands (post to team hash tag and follow hockey twits). If I can do that fast I will build out the 29 other team pages (I've been using the NJ Devils page as a test platform. If i build out the pages fast, then I will copy the data from the old site!! Will update before I go to bed!.

10/05/2009 -1:43AM - Finally got most of the API code settled! users can now follow and post from their favorite team's page. Also have the team pages tightly integrated via the API, so more functionality to come here as well, but feature-wise, it's a well deserved "2.0" - it's time for bed, goodnight!

09/28/09 - Integrated team feeds via Twitter API instead of RSS (much nicer, with profile pics, will add "reply" once further API integration is acclompished). Working on Post to Twitter from team page using team hash tag now. Next is adding "add me" to your favorite team! We're getting there folks!! (new posts will now appear at the top of this page instead of the bottom). 1:15pm - Back at it, had some login/api post message problems last night. I want to keep everyone on the same page when they login, but it might have to be a bounce back.

9/15/09 - Created theHockeyTwits.com feature list

9/16/09 - Created temporary index page. Created theHockeyTwits new logo, advised by my lawyer to remove the feature list until the site is complete (seriously) so you rcan follow my tweets below on the development of the site. (I'm sure some feature news will leak out!), started design page layout!, home page layout updated (again) and alternate logo created

9/17/09 - Added a protective layer over our home page :(, 8:36pm - removed the silly box

9/23/09 - A bunch has happened over the last two days, I almost have the non-user page template complete! 10:54pm - I'm going to put in the start of the home page and swap this to a secondary page with a link. 11:55pm - Initial database has been built out for the base of the team pages where the list of tweeps will be displayed. The first of many to be sured, but a good start! Goodnight!

9/25/09 @12:30AM - Started team template tweep list page. Connected template to database, ported old hockey twits list (by hand) to new database. Set repeat list items, need sleep will format tomorrow and add RSS feeds, then the Twitter API!

9/26/09 - Integrated twitter hash tag RSS reeds to the team page template, starting to work on API integration for login/chat
